The University of Illinois Chicago’s Great Cities Institute released “The Benefits of Healthcare Coverage for Immigrants in Illinois.”
The research brief which demonstrates the impact of Illinois’ immigrant health coverage programs and the need for healthcare for all. It provides context and highlights the value added to Illinois by extending targeted medical coverage to low-income undocumented adults through the Health Benefits for Immigrant Adults (HBIA) and Health Benefits for Immigrant Seniors (HBIS) programs.
