Please join Illinois Partners and the Illinois Department of Labor for an informational webinar about the new Paid Leave for All Workers Act which takes effect on January 1st.
This new law applies to employees working for an employer in Illinois, with some exceptions. The City of Chicago and Cook County have an existing paid sick leave ordinance in place. Ganapathi Ramaswamy, Deputy General Counsel at the Illinois Department of Labor will provide an overview of the new law, the rulemaking process and answer compliance questions.
