In this learning event, we will be getting an update on outcomes from the Spring 2024 Illinois General Assembly legislative session from our advocacy partners,
Partners presenting outcomes include Community Behavioral Healthcare Association (CBHA), Illinois Primary Healthcare Association (IPHCA), Illinois Partners for Human Services, and Thresholds. They will also share information about implementation on passed legislation from Illinois state agencies.
We will also review key elements of our BH-PC Integration Learning Collaborative advocacy agenda – funding (rate increases; BH parity for payment; flexibility in billing by a variety of staff positions; timely payment of state contracts); and workforce development (loan repayment; licensure simplification & timely approval; equitable pay).
As part of registration, we have short questions to help identify your particular interest areas for the discussion.
The event will be held Tuesday, August 13, from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
