A trauma-informed organization understands the impact of trauma and works to create a complete care environment that encourages healing and prevents re-traumatization.

Many of our coalition partners are actively developing trauma-informed policies, practices and procedures to protect the well-being of clients, staff, and the communities where we work.

This 60-minute discussion will feature human service leaders working to create trauma-informed practices and policies. Panelists will share strategies that support staff, ensure all members of our community feel welcome accessing services, and engage clients as partners in addressing the needs they identify. This panel discussion is offered at no charge and open to any human service professional wishing to learn more.

The discussion will be held Wednesday, April 22, 3:30 4:30 pm
