Join Illinois Partners for Advancing Equity in Our Sector and Systems in Which We Advocate: A Racial Equity Training for Human Service Leaders.
This virtual training series is designed for human service leaders who want to deepen theirunderstanding and commitment to racial equity. Participants will share best practices, challenges, and strategies with one another to move past power dynamics created by white supremacy and racial injustice. This training is open to individuals in leadership roles, including directors, managers, and leaders of committees, workgroups, and task forces. The training sessions are facilitated by Illinois Partners staff, racial healing practitioners, and guest facilitators who are leading racial justice work.
Our virtual training series will be conducted in an interactive workshop format with a mix of presentations, group discussions, and breakout sessions. All participants must review key terms and concepts and commit to attending the four sessions. The cost to participate is $200 per person. Staff from financially contributing organizations may attend our training for a discounted rate of $100. Please review the list to search for your organization and check for eligibility for the discount.
