As the legislative session began, Illinois Partners wanted to expand the reach of human service professionals advocating in Springfield during this critical time.
We know that decision-makers need to hear our voices and experiences to inform their work – but we aren’t always afforded the time and space to engage in these conversations and practice the skills we need for effective advocacy.
Illinois Partners is grateful for the individuals who joined our 4-part advocacy training series to learn about state advocacy and how to develop an impactful advocacy strategy. We are excited to see what human services professionals can do in Springfield this year.
