It brought together advocates, providers, and partners from across the state to hear the Governor’s FY27 proposal and reflect on what it means for our communities. You can read more about the event in Capitol News’ coverage here.
We are grateful to the many partners who joined us. Your engagement and leadership help ensure that the voices of community-based providers and the people we serve remain front and center during budget season.
Following the address, the Coalition released a collective response outlining our priorities and the importance of sustained, equitable investment in health and human services, especially in a moment of federal volatility. You can read the full statement here.
Join the Health and Human Services Coalition of Illinois and the Responsible Budget Coalition for a webinar debrief of Governor Pritzker’s FY27 Proposed Budget on Friday, March 6, at 11 am.
