As we approach the finish line of this legislative session, the Illinois Partners team has also been proud to represent our coalition at advocacy and policy events across the state throughout the month of May.

Our Executive Director, Lauren Wright, participated in a Latino Unity Day panel focused on the importance of progressive revenue solutions for Illinois’ state budget alongside Jeremy Rosen of Worker Center for Racial Justice, Rodolfo De Jesus of Greater Chicago Food Depository, and Juan Carlos Bautista of Latino Policy Forum.
Our Senior Director of Advocacy, Adela Carlin, also joined an Advocacy 101 panel, hosted by Housing Forward and moderated by CEO Lynda Schueler, alongside State Representative Lindsey LaPointe and Max Seeley, Director of Government Affairs at Supportive Housing Providers Association. We are grateful to our partners for convening these important conversations and for continuing to create spaces that strengthen advocacy, collaboration, and shared learning.
