Recently, our coalition Partners ASI and Illinois Unidos hosted a Long COVID Summit in partnership with Bright Star Community Outreach and the UIC Office of Population Health Sciences.
The goals of the summit included 1) Improving awareness by collecting, analyzing, reporting, and disseminating Long-COVID related public health 2) Improving the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of Long COVID 3) Improving access to assistive services, including disability benefits and 4) Building Capacity for Community Based Organizations to address Long COVID (Community).
