What contributes to the actual cost of delivering community-based human services in Illinois?
What factors most influence these costs?
Do reimbursement rates and state grants address these costs?
Illinois Partners for Human Service is conducting statewide research to better understand the actual cost of delivering human services in Illinois. In early October, we will release a survey to explore a variety of topics related to these costs, including: the 10% de minimus indirect cost rate and negotiations; Department of Labor overtime exempt salary increases; insurance costs; and whether overhead limits affect your work.
The survey is intended to be completed by one person (the executive director, CEO, or designee) per organization.
The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Some information may need to be collected from a human resource or fiscal officer, such as:
- Information about negotiating indirect cost rates.
- The number of salaried and hourly employees on 1/1/2024, 7/1/2024, and 1/1/2025.
- The number of hours the organization spent recovering costs from delayed payments and insurance denials.
Stay tuned! Survey release coming soon!
