JobReadyIL.com offers free, online job readiness training that you can access anytime, from your computer or mobile device. The platform is a collaborative project run by the Chicagoland Workforce Funder Alliance, Origami Works Foundation, and The Innovation Nexus under supervision of the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development. Job Ready Illinois is designed to help individuals build skills to prepare for, find, and keep a job they love.
For those receiving SNAP benefits, participation in Job Ready Illinois may also help them earn work hours needed to maintain their benefits.
