This free workshop, hosted by the American Society on Aging, explores how legislative changes impact older adults.
These changes – including the Older Americans Act, H.R.1, and Social Security adjustments – impact older adults through eligibility rules, documentation requirements, and reporting burdens that create barriers to essential benefits.
Participants will examine effects on housing stability, consumer debt, and caregiving supports, and discuss policy solutions.
The virtual workshop will be Thursday, January 28 at 1 pm.
