We join many of our coalition partners in mourning the passing of civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson.
His legacy of organizing, advocacy, and leadership will continue to inspire generations.

We were also saddened to learn of the passing of Bishop Dr. Claude Porter, founder of the Proviso Leyden Council for Community Action. Bishop Porter’s work mobilized communities, shaped policy, and strengthened partnerships across our region.
