We are closely following national developments related to voting rights in light of recent Supreme Court rulings that may impact voter access and protections.
Here in Illinois, we are monitoring the progress of the Illinois Voting Rights Act of 2026 (SB3170), a significant effort to strengthen and modernize voting access and equity across the state.
We are grateful for the leadership of organizations such as the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, the Illinois Black Advocacy Initiative, and many other advocates who are actively tracking developments and leading coordinated advocacy efforts to protect and advance voting rights for all communities.
