Earlier this month, our Executive Director Lauren Wright participated in the Raíces Conference, hosted by the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation, joining partners and state leaders to focus on legal strategies to safeguard community-based organizations.

The conference brought together advocates, legislators, and nonprofit leaders committed to ensuring that communities across Illinois have the resources and protections they need to thrive. Conversations like these are vital spaces to exchange knowledge, strengthen networks, and build collective power.
