Governor JB Pritzker signed an executive order to begin a cross-sector planning process to outline a clear framework for addressing the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.

Illinois will join several other states that have developed or are in the process of developing multi-sector plans for aging. These plans involve collaboration across various sectors including human services, government, philanthropy and private entities. Applying an intersectional approach is key to developing equitable plans that address the diverse and overlapping needs of people in our state.
