The Illinois Community Health Workers Association (ILCHWA) hosts virtual training focused on public benefits.
Participants build the knowledge and confidence to better support communities including understanding public benefits and their impact on community health, identifying eligibility and determining who qualifies, navigating exceptions and complex situations, supporting immigrant communities with clear guidance on public charge, and staying up to date on the latest policy changes.
Public Benefits Training and Policy Updates will be offered Wednesday, May 13 at 10am.
