Healing Illinois, an initiative of the Illinois Department of Human Services managed in partnership with the Field Foundation, has reopened for a 2025-2026 grant cycle.
Organizations can apply through November 7,2025 for project funding to promote connectedness across division—addressing racial healing, political polarization, economic distress, and other challenges affecting communities. Priorities include community projects that advance racial healing through storytelling, dialogue, and place-based work.
