In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we want to highlight that the American Indian Center of Chicago (AIC) offers free beadwork classes to learn a meaningful craft that connects to Native heritage, storytelling, and identity.
No experience required, supplies are provided and the classes are open to everyone. AIC provides cultural, social and educational services, programming and support to Chicagoland’s large and diverse Native community.
The classes are held at the American Indian Center of Chicago every Tuesday and Thursday, 4-7 pm.
