Join us in expressing gratitude for Cosette Ayele’s leadership and all she has brought to Illinois Partners, as she wraps up her time at our organization on March 31st.
Over her time here, Cosette helped take our policy and advocacy work to the next level, including helping lead and grow the Living Wages, Thriving Communities Campaign and our workforce advocacy strategy.
She also developed and led our recent advocacy training, helping build knowledge and power among human service professionals across our network.
Cosette has brought sharp strategic thinking, honesty, incredible work ethic, and real leadership to this team, and her thoughtful transition has set us up for success well beyond her time on staff.
We are especially excited to celebrate Cosette as she steps into her new role as Executive Director of Chicago Quilombo, an organization she co-founded, where we know she will lead with vision and commitment to her community.
Cosette has left a real mark on Illinois Partners, and we wish her nothing but the very best in this next chapter!
