In honor of Black History Month, CARA Collective hosted a conversation with social enterprise leaders who create opportunities for job seekers facing barriers to employment.
They discussed a variety of topics around social enterprises, from the role these businesses play in workforce development to the impact they have on the communities they serve. Kathleen St. Louis Caliento, President & CEO of Cara Collective, moderated the conversation.
Panelists included Brenda Palms, President & CEO of North Lawndale Employment Network, Janelle St. John, Executive Director of Growing Home and Pamela Bozeman-Evans, Chief Operating Officer of New Moms.
