The article notes that “no research exists on training that CHWs receive on age-friendly health care.” It explores CHW education “on the 4Ms of an Age-Friendly Health System” and identifies areas where additional training may be necessary.” The “4Ms” as defined in the article are: Mobility (helping older adults move safely), Mentation (identifying dementia, delirium, and depression), Medications (using age-friendly medications when possible), and What Matters (aligning care with older adults’ health goals).
