To help prepare for the legislative session, Illinois Partners is offering a four-part advocacy training series this January.

The series is designed to equip frontline staff, administrators and advocates with the tools to influence state-level decision-making. It features experienced Illinois advocates sharing how to best engage with state legislative advocacy and develop your organizational advocacy strategy.
Monday, January 12, 10:30am-12:30pm – Introduction to Advocacy
Tuesday, January 20, 10:30am-12:30pm – Developing an Advocacy Strategy and Galvanizing Support
Monday, January 26, 10:30am-12:30pm – School House Rock for Illinois
Monday, February 2, 10:30am-12pm – Lessons from Illinois Advocates
The cost is $100 per person. We offer a 50% discount for participants from organizations who made a financial contribution in this new fiscal year FY26 (since July 1, 2025). Check this list to see if your organization is a financially contributing partner.
Scholarships are also available for individuals whose organizations are not able to cover the cost of this training. Apply for a scholarship here
If you have questions about the training, please contact Katherine Cavanaugh (Katherine@IllinoisPartners.org).
