As Illinois looks ahead to the 2026 Veto Session scheduled for November 17–19 and December 1–3, our collective advocacy continues.
Recently, we participated in a statewide workgroup focused on supports for the homeless services workforce. Our research, proposed legislation, and policy recommendations were incorporated into the resulting report, which has been shared with the Illinois Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) and the homeless services funder group.
