The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) proposed significant changes to the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Start Early believes the proposed changes to Head Start would weaken the comprehensive services that have helped millions of young children get the strong start they deserve. Illinois families and providers can submit public comments until October 6.
