Dear Coalition Partners and Supporters,
I am excited to share that I have accepted the role of Interim Executive Director of Illinois Partners for Human Service. It is an honor to continue serving alongside all of you in this new capacity and to build on the strong foundation of collaboration, advocacy, and shared purpose that defines our work.
Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to work with many of you. Through our advocacy, training, and coalition efforts, I have seen firsthand what makes this coalition so powerful: our collective voice, our shared commitment to communities, and the relationships we have built across Illinois.
The challenges facing our organizations and the people we serve are significant, but I firmly believe that when we come together, learn from one another, and advocate collectively, we create lasting change. As Interim Executive Director, my commitment is to strengthen connections, create opportunities for shared learning, and continue advancing policies that are fair, equitable, and responsive to your needs and those of the communities you serve.
Together, we will continue building power through collective advocacy.
I would like to reintroduce the amazing Illinois Partners team, as well. Through research, training, strategic communications, and advocacy, we work every day to provide information, resources, and opportunities that strengthen our sector and build a unified voice.

I also want to express my sincere appreciation to Lauren Wright for her years of leadership and service. Her dedication to collaboration and advocacy helped shape Illinois Partners into the strong coalition it is today, and we are grateful for her many contributions.
Our Board of Directors will soon begin the search for Illinois Partners’ next Executive Director. Throughout this transition, I want to assure you that our mission and priorities remain unchanged, and our team remains fully committed to supporting you and advancing our shared work.
Thank you for your partnership, your leadership, and your continued commitment to building a stronger human services sector. I look forward to listening, learning, and collaborating with you in the months ahead.
