Investments in Human Infrastructure pay off. Just like roads, bridges and schools, Illinois human service providers strengthen every community and must be well maintained. Predictability of a payment schedule to human service providers is an essential element of a sustainable human service system. In order to maintain healthy, high performing non profit providers government should bear the financial responsibility of compensating providers in a timely manner based on the full cost of efficient service. Illinois human services agencies care for hundreds of thousands of our neighbors, employ hundreds of others, and contribute to our state and local economies. We help businesses stay in Illinois.
